Biography

Nish Vartanian presently serves as Non-Executive Chairman of the Board. He previously served as Chairman and Chief Executive Officer from June of 2023 until his retirement from the company in May of 2024. Prior to that, Mr. Vartanian was Chairman, President and Chief Executive Officer from May 2020 to May 2023, and prior thereto was President and Chief Executive Officer from May of 2018 to May 2020. Prior to his retirement, Mr. Vartanian was employed with MSA for over 39 years and served in a variety of sales, operational and executive roles. Mr. Vartanian also serves on the board of Koppers Holdings, Inc. (NYSE: KOP); the Board of Highmark Health; the International Association of Fire Fighters Foundation: Board of Trustees; and the Board of the Heinz History Center. He is also a director of the Federal Reserve Bank of Cleveland, Pittsburgh Branch.
